Primary Index
A major SciMu index for Earth’s living environments: forests, grasslands, deserts, tundra, freshwater, oceans, wetlands, mountains, and the ecological pathways connecting life to climate, water, land, and energy.
Living Environments
Biomes are not classified in one universal ranked system the way species are arranged in biological taxonomy. Different scientists and organizations may group ecosystems differently, depending on climate, vegetation, geography, water, species communities, or ecological function. SciMu uses biome groupings as educational pathways through Earth’s living systems.
Prototype Biome Page
A living system of rain, layers, biodiversity, and interdependence. Rainforest is the first test page for the SciMu 1.1 Page Factory.
